Her clinical interests are endocrinology, transfusion medicine and endoscopy, and she has joined the leadership team at Blaise as Clinical Nurse Manager.

Kate has a passion for animal welfare, “Throughout my career in general practice I had always enjoyed theatre work and anaesthesia, however, following my introduction into referral nursing I quickly developed a keen interest in medicine. I was drawn to the complexity of the patients’ conditions and the investigations/interventions that come with them, along with their nursing care.”

In her spare time, when not spending time with her cat, Noodle, who loves croissants and popcorn, her dogs Floyd, who likes swimming and climbing trees, and Dizzie, who loves food, cuddles, food, her toy reindeer, and more food!!, Kate enjoys going to the gym, and running. She loves hiking with her dogs and road tripping in her campervan. She also loves to snowboard in the Alps in the winter.
