Callum studied Biochemistry at the University of Leeds before going on to obtain his Veterinary degree from the University of Cambridge in 2018. He has previously worked in General Practice before undertaking a rotating internship at a Referral Hospital. Following this, he spent several years at the PDSA, one of the UK's largest Veterinary charity hospitals, followed by a surgical internship at an IVC referral hospital. Callum completed a three year dual-site ECVS residency in Small Animal Surgery and then joined Blaise Referrals in 2025 as a referral clinician in surgery.

Outside of work, Callum has a three-legged rescue cat called Zara, and a mischievous King Charles Cavalier Spaniel puppy called Fudge. He enjoys spending his free time in the great outdoors.
